Studies have indicated up to the 12% of the population will suffer from heel pain throughout their lives. The causes of heel pain can be plantar fasciitis, heel spur, bursitis, fat pad contusion, plantar fascial tear, tendinopathy, stress fracture or nerve compression. A thorough assessment by one of our team will determine which is causing your heel pain then design a program to achieve comfort and pain relief. Treatment for heel pain may include, taping, gait retraining, shock wave therapy, laser therapy, low dye taping and orthotics. Our job is to work out which is the best for you. Our Podiatrist will use evidence based practice and over 30 years of treating heel pain experience to help you achieve your goals.
